NORTH PROVIDENCE - Kristen Bobola and Stephen Peters announce their engagement. She is the daughter of AnneMarie Bobola and Louis Bobola of North Providence. He is the son of Ed and Caron Peters of Narragansett.

The future bride graduated from LaSalle Academy in 2003 and Assumption College in 2007. She received her master's degree in social work from Rhode Island College in 2009. She is a social worker at About Families Cedarr Center in Pawtucket.

The future groom graduated from Albany Academy in 2001 and Roger Williams University in 2005. He received his master of business administration degree from Bryant University in 2010. He is currently working on his master's degree in investment management at Boston University and expects to graduate in May. He is a senior investment consultant at Fidelity in Smithfield.

The couple are planning a June 7, 2014 wedding.
