Archambault's campaign consultant pleads not guilty on election law violation

MITHFIELD - Robert Horowitz, a consultant for Stephen R. Archambault's successful campaign for state Senate last year, pleaded not guilty at a March 19 arraignment to violating a state election law, and the case was continued to a pre-trial hearing April 2.

Smithfield police have charged Horowitz, 53, with a misdemeanor under a statute that forbids the distribution of unsigned campaign material meant to be injurious.
