Woonsocket police arrest sixth suspect in marijuana robberies

WOONSOCKET – The final suspect wanted for home invasions in Woonsocket and Burrillville was arrested this week after turning himself in to police.

Charles Perry, 20 of 228 Carelton St. apt. 3, Providence is one of six suspects being charged in connection with a March 6 robbery at 160 Cherry Farm Road in Burrillville and a second home invasion that took place at 156 Park Ave. in Woonsocket on March 24. The perpetrators in both incidents robbed the victims of marijuana.

Last week, police arrested five adults after visiting 97 – 99 Roberts St. in Woonsocket. Four city men; Kyeme Gallagher, 22, of 20 Bell St.; Charles Welch, 23, of 97 Roberts St.; Cyril Delgado, 19, of 97 Roberts St.; and Randy Santana, 21, of 482 Park Ave.; were charged in connection with the robberies. Andrew Perry, 21, of 90 Girard Ave., Newport was also arrested.

Police had also issued a warrant for Charles Perry, who turned himself in at the Woonsocket Police Department on April 3. All of the suspects have been charged with burglary, first degree robbery, and conspiracy.

Perry also faces several other charges from Burrillville Police. He was arraigned in District Court on April 3, and is being held without bail.
