Suspect in Woonsocket murder held without bail

WOONSOCKET — The man accused of murdering 57-year-old Donna Pike had his arraignment on Thursday, April 11 and is being held without bail.

Brian Audette, 43, of 307 Elm St., Warwick was charged with first degree murder just days after police found Pike's body in her Rathbun Street apartment. The cause of Pike's death has been determined to be blunt force trauma to the face and the head.

A police affidavit filed in District Court states that Audette confessed to the crime.

Pike's landlord at 79 Rathbun St., David DiPardo, had called police to check on her Monday after not hearing from his tenant for several days.
