AG, DOH to hold public meeting on Memorial Hospital merger June 11

PAWTUCKET – The Rhode Island Office of Attorney General and the Rhode Island Department of Health will hold a public informational meeting concerning the proposed affiliation of The Memorial Hospital with Care New England on Tuesday, June 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jenks Junior High School, 350 Division St., Pawtucket.

State officials have received a request for an expedited review of initial applications for a hospital conversion filed by Memorial Hospital and Care New England.

Public comment will be accepted during the scheduled public informational meeting. Officials will also accept written comments, which must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 14, if possible. Written comments may be submitted at public informational meetings or by sending to:
