Mr. and Mrs. Dutremble celebrate 60 years

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Mr. and Mrs. Fernand and Simone Dutremble celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party given by their children at the Coachmen's Lodge on April 20. Attendees enjoyed a cake, which was an exact copy of their original wedding cake, made by the couple's granddaughter Theresa Cinq-Mars.

The couple were married on April 18, 1953 at St. Ann Church in Woonsocket. Mrs. Dutremble is the former Simone Lambert.

Mr. and Mrs. Dutremble are the parents of Paulette Dutremble of North Smithfield; Robert Dutremble and his wife, Sharon, of Nasonville; Richard Dutremble and his wife, Carolyn, of Millville, Mass.; Linda Bayer and her husband, Steve, of Mapleville; and the late Jacqueline Cinq-Mars.

They are the grandparents of Jason Cinq-Mars and his wife, Theresa, of Bellingham, Mass.; Joshua Goodwin, Christopher Dutremble and Erin Dutremble, all of Woonsocket; Kaitlyn Dutremble and Kristen Dutremble of Millville, Mass.; Matthew Bayer of Mapleville.

They are the great-grandparents of Danielle Huguenin of Nasonville and Jackson Cinq-Mars of Bellingham, Mass.

Mrs. Dutremble was a homemaker and later worked at various local companies. Mr. Dutremble was a union construction laborer. He is also an Army combat veteran of the Korean War.

The couple enjoy going to "The Twin" and Foxwoods and spending time with family and friends.
