Pawtucket police searching for suspects in PCU robbery

PAWTUCKET – On May 9, at approximately 12:30 p.m. two suspects robbed the Pawtucket Credit Union at 571 Smithfield Ave., according to Pawtucket police. The two men, described as dark-skinned males, entered the bank wearing masks and gloves. Each armed with a handgun, they demanded cash.

The two men fled after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, said police, exciting through a rear door to either Weeden Street or Samuel Avenue. The money was placed into some type of dark bag.
