Christopher J. Cabral - Smithfield

Christopher J. Cabral, 86, of Smith Avenue died Monday, May 13. He was the beloved husband of Anna T. (Connetti) Cabral for 64 years.

Born in Smithfield, he was one of seven children of the late Christaino and Mary (Rufino) Cabral. He had worked for Rhode Island DOT as a driver and later as a carpenter before retiring after more than 30 years.

He was active with the Greenville and Laurel Granges, St. Philip Church Choir, the VFW, the Greenville Goldenaires and the Happy Notes.

He is also survived by his daughters, Beverly Hardman of Smithfield and Cheryl Ciotola and her husband Robert of Salem, Conn.; his grandchildren, Kim Hardman, Christopher Ciotola and Elizabeth Dubreuil; and his great-grandchildren, Brady and Analise Ciotola and Lucas Dubreuil.

His funeral is Thursday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m. from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial is in Little Greenville Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
