Pawtucket woman struck by car identified

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The woman who was struck by a minivan on Route 1 in South Attleboro at about 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday night has been identified as Kathleen Silviera, 45, a resident of 42 Goff Ave. in Pawtucket, according to a report by The Sun Chronicle.

Silviera was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, as reported by the paper, which attributed the statement to police.

The minivan involved in the incident was driven by Reynaldo Gonzalez, 43, of 58 Woodhaven Road in Pawtucket. A preliminary investigation showed that poor visibility may have led to the accident, which remains under investigation. Gonzalez has not been charged with any crime.
