Central Falls March for Peace steps off Saturday

CENTRAL FALLS - Mayor James Diossa and Central Falls resident Dan Klotz have announced a March for Peace, sponsored by the newly formed community group Central Falls Cares, will be coming to the city this Saturday, June 29. The event will start and end at the Broad Street main entrance to Jenks Park, adjacent to the Central Falls City Hall. The march will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.

Participants are requested to wear white shirts. Providence Mayor Angel Taveras, other elected officials, and members of the public are invited to join this grassroots community event promoting safety and security for all those who live and work in Central Falls.
