Trinity Rep seeks child actors for 'A Christmas Carol'

PROVIDENCE - Trinity Repertory Company will be holding an open call for child actors on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Cardi's Furniture, Route 1A, Attleboro, Mass., for its 37th annual production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," directed by Tyler Dobrowsky. Children 8-12 are welcome to audition, although children who turn 13 before Dec. 31 are not eligible. No appointment is necessary for the auditions.

All who audition should be ready to sing 30 seconds of their favorite holiday song to be sung without accompaniment. Children must also be prepared to read the audition scene. Rehearsals for the child actors will begin the weekend of Oct. 12. Performances run Nov. 8 to Dec. 28 at Trinity Rep.
