St. Matthew Lutheran to restart Sunday School Sept. 8

PAWTUCKET - St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave., will restart its Sunday School program this Sunday, Sept. 8, following the 9 a.m. service.

Sunday School teacher Jennifer Curtis said this year's program, for children in pre-school through junior high, will offer various activities, each week bringing a different Bible-related activity.

The church will also hold its annual outdoor service on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. The public is invited to the service as well as a free outdoor picnic afterward. The service and picnic will be held at the intersection of First and Liberty streets. The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m.

The church is fully accessible to the handicapped and parking is plentiful on First and Liberty streets. For more call 401-723-5632.
