Paint pumpkins shades of pink at Attleboro Farms

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The breast cancer resource fundraising organization Shades of Pink will host a day of pumpkin decorating on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Attleboro Farms, 491 Hickory Road.

Shades of Pink was founded by Cumberland breast cancer survivors Sharyn Vicente and Hilda Potrzeba.

For a cost of $5, kids of all ages are invited to decorate their pumpkins in pink and go on a hayride. Pictures will be taken of the decorated pumpkins and displayed at the 5th annual Shades of Pink auction fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Corinne's Banquets & Gastro Pub in Pawtucket.

There will also be farmers market from noon to 3 p.m. at the farm. All family members who attend the fundraiser will receive a special gift. Tickets and merchandise will also be sold at Attleboro Farms.
