Twin River granted approval for increasing table games

LINCOLN - Twin River Casino is reportedly increasing the number of table games at its facility, without losing any video lottery terminals.

The Providence Journal reported that state Lottery officials gave approval on Sept. 6 for the casino to increase the number of games from 66 to 80. The exact breakdown of the types of games has yet to be released, and the new ones are expected to be in place by Thanksgiving, according to reports.

After a $7 million renovation that opened this June, the casino currently has 38 blackjack tables, six roulette wheels, six baccarat tables, four craps tables and several three-card poker tables, occupying 19,000 square feet of the 160,000-square-foot gaming floor, by the Blackstone Cigar Bar.
