Woonsocket Autism Benefit to hold 'Whose Line' night

WOONSOCKET - The Woonsocket Autism Benefit has announced its fall event for 2013: a "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" night, based on the popular improv comedy television show. The funds from this event will go toward the budget for the main event in April, which is being billed as "Something You Have Never Seen Before."

The show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at Stage Right Studio, 68 South Main St. Tickets are $5, and may be purchased at the door, or by emailing whsautism@gmail.com, with the subject line, "Whose Line Tickets."

The Woonsocket Autism Benefit was founded in September, 2010, and has raised more than $15,000 in the past three years for The Autism Project of Rhode Island. As of 2013, 30 teachers in Woonsocket have received free training, worth $10,000, as result of the funding, and four children in Woonsocket have been sent to Social Skills classes and/or summer camp held by The Autism Project, fully funded, by the scholarship fund.
