Manning siblings exhibit paintings at RIWS

PAWTUCKET - Stephen Ellery Manning of Pawtucket and his twin sister, Susan Manning O'Briant of Winchester, Mass., are holding an exhibition of their paintings at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society now through Sept. 26.

The gallery is located in the J.C. Potter Casino Building in Slater Memorial Park.

Stephen, an aircraft technician, has won awards for his paintings. He has painted commissioned illustrations of private, corporate and military aircraft. He was awarded second place in the "Portraits & Figures" show at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society.

Also an award-winning painter, Susan earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design at the Memphis Academy of Art in Tennessee. She worked as a photographer and graphic designer for more than 30 years. She is an artist member of Rockport Art Association and North Shore Arts Association. Her work can be seen at
