PCU names three new branch managers, including Briggs in Smithfield

PAWTUCKET - Karl A. Kozak, president and chief executive officer of Pawtucket Credit Union, is announcing three new three branch managers.

Amy F. Briggs has been hired for the Smithfield PCU office.

As with all the new managers, her overall responsibilities include "managing profitability, operations, regulatory compliance and employee development" at the 379 Putnam Pike branch location.

Briggs has more than nine years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as branch manager for Citizens Bank in Westerly. She is bi-lingual, a member of the Westerly Chamber of Commerce and holds an master's degree in merchandising from the University of Rhode Island.

Manuel Leca is the new manager of the East Providence office, 660 Warren Ave. He comes to the credit union with more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as branch manager for Admiral's Bank and has attended Newbury College and the Community College of Rhode Island.

Wendie Thibodeau has been hired as branch manager at the East Greenwich office, 5661 Post Road.

Thibodeau has more than seven years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as assistant manager for Citizens Bank in Narragansett.

She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Rhode Island and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Pawtucket Credit Union, established in 1928, is a cooperative institution with 15 branches, $1.4 billion in assets and more than 76,000 members.
