Red, White, and Blueberry breakfast planned for Nov. 3

NORTH PROVIDENCE - On Sunday, Nov. 3, North Providence High School's "Cougar Close-Up" will be holding its second Red, White and Blueberry pancake breakfast fundraiser to benefit the 13 NPHS students going to Washington, D.C., in March to get a "close up" view of democracy in action. The event, to run from 8 to 11:30 a.m., will happen in the high school cafeteria.

Organizers say they would love for our local leaders to be present for the event. Tickets will be sold in advance and are $7 for adults, $4 for children age 10 and younger, and $5 for students. Entire tables may also be reserved for $45.

In addition to breakfast, there will be a "penny social" style raffle for a variety of gift baskets. Participants can also contribute to this event by donating an item to be included in a raffle.

Contact any of the Cougar Close-Up advisers to purchase tickets, sponsor a table for your family/friends, donate a raffle item, or otherwise contribute to Cougar-Close-Up.
