Wedding - Coakley - Bedard

FALMOUTH, Mass. - Beth Ann Coakley and Robert Michael Bedard exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 31. Ceremony and reception were held at the Cape Wind resort. Michael Bedard, cousin of the groom, was the Justice of the Peace.

The bride is the daughter of Susan and James Coakley, of Grantham, N.H. The groom is the son of Vivian Beaudette, of Pawtucket, and Robert Bedard, of North Attleboro, Mass.

Coakley was the eighth bride in her mother's family to wear the same antique cream-colored satin gown. Five former brides, including Beth's mother Susan, were in attendance. In order, the brides are: 3. Janet Gantz Falcone, 4. Susan Gantz Coakley, 5. Barbara Gantz Frizzell, 6. Barbara Falcone Smith, 7. Beverly Bader Buckley, and 8. Beth Coakley Bedard. The first two brides were 1. Mary Gantz Bader, and 2. Dorothy Gantz Tigerman.

The matron of honor was Lynn Coakley. The best man was Robert Meyer. The bridesmaid was Karen Landry, and groom's man was Kevin Sirois. Abigail Coakley, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The newlyweds drove off in their 1941 Ford after the ceremony while guests enjoyed big band music at the cocktail hour.

The couple lives in Pawtucket.
