Stuckey named to Junior League board

PROVIDENCE - North Providence resident Alissa Stuckey has been named Fundraising Council Director of the Junior League of Rhode Island Inc. as part of the 2013-2014 board of directors.

Stuckey has been a JLRI member since 2009, serving on the public relations and fundraising committees and as fundraising chairwoman. She will now oversee all fundraising, cookbook and merchandising, and annual giving activities that support JLRI's mission and community focus.

Stuckey currently works as an incident manager at RBS Citizens N.A. She has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Providence College, and is pursuing additional graduate studies at Johnson and Wales University's Alan Shawn Feinstein Graduate School.

The JLRI has been active in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts since 1921, training women to become community and civic leaders by teaching how to effectively manage a nonprofit organization and develop community service programs.
