Bica appointed to Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island staff

PAWTUCKET - Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island appointed Dr. David Bica to its medical staff in the Department of Family Medicine.

Bica earned his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. He completed a family medicine residency and a sports medicine fellowship both at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, Greenville, N.C. He is an assistant clinical professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Bica is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.

His areas of clinical interest include sports medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
