BVCAP accepting new applications

PAWTUCKET - Blackstone Valley Community Action Program's Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is now open and taking new applications. The program provides help with energy needs, including heating assistance and energy crisis intervention. BVCAP serves residents of Pawtucket, Central Falls, Lincoln, Cumberland, North Smithfield, and Woonsocket. Households must meet income guidelines and appointments are necessary. Appointments can be made in person or by phone at one of two offices: 32 Goff Ave., Pawtucket, 401-723-0227; or Woonsocket Senior Center, 84 Social St., Woonsocket, 401-765-3258.
