Sample local R.I. beers at historic Arnold House

LINCOLN - Enjoy a sampling of Rhode Island-brewed beer at Historic New England's Tales and Ales event on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Arnold House, 487 Great Road.

After Eleazer Arnold received a tavern license for his house in 1710, the Arnold family hosted many travelers journeying between Providence and Mendon, Mass. on Great Road.

Learn about the importance of taverns in early American history and listen to festive colonial music performed by members of the local group, Barnacle. The 21+ event is hosted in partnership with Union Station Brewery in Providence.

Registration is required. Admission costs $10 for Historic New England members, and $25 for non members.
