Greene PTO meeting to focus on off-street bus stop

PAWTUCKET - Mayor Donald Grebien, Councilor Tim Rudd, and Public Works Director Lance Hill will join the Nathanael Greene Elementary School PTO at its meeting next Monday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. to discuss a potential off-street drop-off location for buses. Neighbors, faculty and staff are all invited to attend the meeting, which will be held at the school, 285 Smithfield Ave.

Grebien and the City Council, at Rudd's request, sent a letter to school officials a few weeks ago about the need to find a safer spot to drop students off instead of the street. Officials want to get everyone's input before a decision is made.
