Make a centerpiece, learn to sew, at Harmony Library

GLOCESTER - Harmony Library, 195 Putnam Pike, is offering a centerpiece workshop and a children's sewing workshop.

For ages 13 through adult, the holiday centerpiece workshop will be held Monday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m.

Participants should bring their own greens, gloves, and clippers, and library director Gayle Wolstenholme will demonstration how to make a centerpiece.

Children in grades 2 and above can develop their sewing skills at workshops on Monday, Dec. 23, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Learn to sew mittens and an ear band on a sewing machine. Sewing machines are provided in the library's Community Room. There is a $10 material fee.
