Land Trust hosts workshop Saturday

CUMBERLAND - Cumberland Land Trust will hold a workshop on Saturday Dec. 21, at 10 a.m., in the Cumberland Community Room, 2176 Mendon Road.

Workshop presentations by CLT Board Members Randy Tuomisto and Joe Pailthorpe will provide an overview of conservation lands in Cumberland including the CLTs holdings.

The Cumberland Land Trust has preserved more than 350 acres of land in Cumberland through donation, purchase and easements. These include four large preserves in which hiking trails have been established. Intended for passive recreation, these trails are open to the public and can offer an enjoyable outdoor experience throughout the year.

The meeting is open to the public. The Cumberland Community Room is located next to Mendon Liquors. For more information or to RSVP, contact Joe Pailthorpe at 401-374-7857.

Founded in 1989, the Cumberland Land Trust is a private, nonprofit, volunteer membership organization dedicated to land preservation for the public benefit. For information, visit CumberlandLandTrust.org .
