Learn about early technology at Historical Society

LINCOLN - The Blackstone Valley Historical Society will host a presentation on early technology on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at North Gate Toll House, 1873 Old Louisquisset Pike.

Richard Langlois, president and chief physicist at Langlois Lab who received his doctorate in electrical engineering and physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will talk about some of the early inventions to come out of the Blackstone Valley.

Langlois is president of the Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club, and has been associated with ham radio for more than 30 years. He will explain how it is still an important part of today's technology.
