NORTH PROVIDENCE - The Needlers, a group of residents interested in both needlework and helping out their local library, is once again selling its wares.

The Needlers Holiday Sale, featuring items crocheted and knitted by members of the group over the past year, will run through the end of January at the library, located at 1810 Mineral Spring Ave.

Liz D'Amore, collection development librarian at the library, said the Needlers have been selling handcrafted items for the past three years. The sale typically runs for the month of December, but this year it was extended through January. All proceeds from the effort benefit the library, said D'Amore.

Library workers say the Needlers, made up of mostly women, is their "most successful group."
