Roland G. Bergeron - Woonsocket

Roland G. Bergeron 70, of Gaulin Avenue, died Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Woonsocket Health Center. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Robert and Marie (Bourassa) Bergeron.

Roland ran Keepsake Lamination in Woonsocket for more than 17 years. From 1982 to 2000, Roland was instrumental in the fight to save the homes on Gaulin Avenue.

He is survived by two sisters, Theresa C. Byron and Yvonne L. Bergeron, both of Woonsocket. He was also the companion of the late Carole A. Walsh, and the brother of the late Joseph “Ted” Bergeron and Jeannette Bergeron.

A committal service and burial will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
