March 20 'Eggs and Issues' features URI president Dooley

LINCOLN - University of Rhode Island President David Dooley will be the featured speaker at the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce's Eggs and Issues Breakfast on Thursday, March 20, from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road.

Dooley will discuss economic initiatives the university is developing, the new URI Business Engagement Center, the school's Small Business Development Center, and the Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership now located at URI.

He will also address plans for a nursing school in downtown Providence and the engineering bond issue that will be on the November ballot.

A full breakfast will be served.

Cost is $20 for Chamber members who register in advance; $30 for members who register at the door; and $40 for nonmembers.
