Lois M. Winsor - Smithfield

Lois M. (Turner) Winsor, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, March 7, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Norman I. and Mildred R. (Gregory) Turner.

Mrs. Winsor was the vice president of the former Winsor Construction Co. before retiring. She lived in Lincoln most of her life before moving to Greenville in 2004.

She was a life member and former trustee of the Roger Williams Baptist Church. She was a member of the Smithfield Senior Center, the Limerockers Group and loved to take day trips and travel.

She was the loving mother of David N. Winsor, Nancy J. Kozatek and her husband Martin and Meredith A. Winsor, all of Greenville, Arthur I. Winsor and his wife Kathy of Swanzey, N.H., and Marilyn Hashisaka and her husband Reid of Kalaheo, Hawaii. She was the sister of Elinor S. Lepore and Janet A. Sherman, both of Lincoln, and the late Norman I. Turner Jr. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey and Gail Winsor, David and Hisa Hashisaka, Gregory and Gerren Kozatek. Lois will also be missed by her sister in-law, Gloria Turner and brother in-law, Frank F. Sherman; and her cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44), Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
