LHS hosts transition night

LINCOLN - Lincoln High School, in coordination with the Northern Rhode Island Transition Advisory Council, will host Transition Night on Wednesday, April 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the north gym of the school at 135 Old River Road.

The evening will include information about a successful transition for students and families, presentations by students and parents, and the opportunity to speak directly with agencies that will provide support after students exit high school.

The following agencies and organizations will be present: BHDDH, Proability, Office of Rehabilitative Services, RHD RI, Disability Law Center, NRIC Transition Employment Center, Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities, Youth Centers, Goodwill Industries, CEDARR, RIPIN, Community College of Rhode Island, Seven Hills, Generations and MTTI.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
