Burrillville man arrested after selling cocaine to police

GLOCESTER – A Burrillville man was arrested by Glocester and Burrillville police on June 26, a report issued by police states, after a month-long investigation into his alleged sale of cocaine in local bars.

Edmilson G. Rodrigues, 31, of 435 Steer Farm Road, allegedly sold cocaine to police during that month, prompting a search warrant of his home to be executed by the Glocester and Burrillville Police Departments, the report states. Police reportedly found 10 individual plastic baggies of cocaine, $250 in cash and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Rodrigues pleaded "not guilty" in district court to one felony count of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, and was held without bail pending a bail hearing on July 10, police said.
