Donald E. Dubuque - Smithfield

Donald E. Dubuque, 78, a Greenville resident since 1969, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He leaves his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Maureen P. (Linehan) Dubuque.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late J. Edmond and Viola (Jarbeau) Dubuque. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Dubuque retired in 1992 as a District Sales Manager for Motorola Communications and Electronics after 26 years of service where he was a member of the Galvin Masters.

After retiring, he was employed by Precision Craft Dental Lab for 8 years. He loved fishing, but his true joy in life was spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he was the father of Michelle A. MacKnight (Robert) of Greenville, Susan P. Carnes, Donald J. Dubuque (Kate) and Paul M. Dubuque (Donna), all of Glocester. He was the loving grandfather of Daniel, Lillie, Sarah and Rachael. He was the brother of the late Muriel Johnson.

His funeral was held June 28 from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave. Graveside burial with military honors was in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
