Farmers market and more at Daniels Farmstead

BLACKSTONE, Mass. - Daniels Farmstead, 286 Mendon St., holds a farmers market every Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring locally grown produce, meats, honey and more.

Weekly vendors include Trolley Crossing Farm of Bellingham with vegetables, grass-fed lamb and flowers; Shamrock Hives Farm selling grass-fed beef and natural pork, sauces, jams, some seasonal vegetables and honey; Ryan Goudreau with assorted local fruits, vegetables and craft items; Dawn's Delights featuring gluten-free products; Irene Carpenter's handmade clothing and novelties; Daniels Farmstead's own organic produce and honey.

On Aug. 10 and Aug. 31, Joe Wojcik will be selling his naturally raised freezer beef and pork, and Sonja Macaline will be at the market with cakes and pastries.

Special events include music by Mark Mandeville on Aug 17; Band Camp and Daniels Day on Aug. 24; the Daniels Tractor Show and Claflin Hill Summer Wind concert on Sept. 21.

Daniels Farmstead House Tours are available every Sunday, and visitors can enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage, peppers and onions and veggie burgers from the Daniels grill.
