Jeannette R. Guilbert - Woonsocket

Jeannette R. Guilbert, 89, of Greene Street, died Friday, Oct. 24 at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the wife of the late Leo A Dufresne and Eugene L. Guilbert. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Leonie (Delorme) LaBreche.

Jeannette worked for the U.S. Rubber Company for many years. She worked at McCarthy’s Department Store in the shoe department and retired from Stop and Shop Supermarket in North Smithfield.

She was an active member and volunteer at All Saints and St. Ann’s parishes. Jeannette was a member of the Golden Hearts Club and an avid bingo player.

She is survived by a son, Leo Dufresne of Woonsocket; three daughters, Denise Martin of Webster, Mass., Helene Levesque of Mims, Fla., and Michelle DeLisle of Woonsocket; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Lomer Dufresne; a daughter, Diane Keith; a granddaughter, Jessica; and eight siblings, Doria, Lomer, Gustave, Claude LaBreche, and Roger LaBreche, Alfreda Peloquin, and Sister Doris LaBreche RJM and Sister Claire LaBreche RJM.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 9:30 A.M. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
