Pawtucket Central Falls Development celebrates 25th

PAWTUCKET - Join Pawtucket Central Falls Development in celebrating its 25th year of working to revitalize and strengthen neighborhoods in Pawtucket and Central Falls.

The Sept. 17 event, which will also feature a toast to the one-year anniversary of the merger of Pawtucket Citizens Development Corporation and Realty Endeavors for Affordable Community Housing, will from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Slater Mill, 67 Roosevelt Ave.

The presentation of the John Coen Award for Community Service and Social Justice will be held at 6 p.m. It will go to local partners Maj. Arthur Martins, Sandra Cano, and the Citizens Bank/NBC 10 and Champions in Action Program.

Throughout the evening, enjoy live music by the Michelle Cruz Quartet, a slideshow of PCF Development's past work in Pawtucket and Central Falls, open house tours of Slater Mill and Wilkinson Mill, starting at 7:30 p.m, and a complimentary drink, cash bar, and food catered by Emery's Catering.

Attendees are also encouraged to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of many prizes, such as two season tickets to the Gamm Theatre, lunch with Mayor James Diossa, a private suite to a PawSox game, a Garrison Chocolate Basket, and a grand prize two-night stay in Bar Harbor, Maine.
