Isle Brewers Guild announces new name, logo

PAWTUCKET – Craft beer cooperative Isle Brewers Guild has released a new logo and branding and renamed its Pawtucket headquarters as it prepares to officially open its full-service 100-barrel brewhouse later this year.

Located at 461 Main St. in Pawtucket in the former Kellaway Center, IBG’s 130,000-square-foot headquarters will be known as The Guild.

The Guild will include the 100-barrel brewhouse, a tasting room, indoor and outdoor event space, classroom space, company offices and space for brewing partners (see rendering below).

The new logo has some similar features to the new Pawtucket city logo.

“We are excited to provide Rhode Islanders and tourists from across the region with a new food and beverage destination spot right here in the heart of Pawtucket,” said Devin Kelly, co-founder and managing partner of IBG. “The Guild will provide our brewing partners with the resources they need to brew great beer and will offer consumers a unique venue to learn about the brewing process and, of course, relax, have fun and enjoy a pint (or two) with their friends.”

“Rhode Island is a hub for people who value great food and drink and new experiences,” said Jeremy Duffy, co-founder and managing partner of IBG. “We are thrilled to build on that culture in downtown Pawtucket and provide home brewers, beer-lovers and everyone in between with a state-of-the-art facility to enjoy everything the brewing industry has to offer.”

The Guild’s brewhouse will have an initial capacity of 60,000 barrels (the equivalent of 840,000 cases), with room to grow to 175,000 barrels in the coming years.

It will also have packaging on site, including kegging and canning in the first phase.

Construction on The Guild began in December and IBG owners expect the brewery campus to be open this summer. IBG will eventually employ about 45 workers, with potential for more.

Brewing partners moving their operations to The Guild will be announced in the coming months.
