Wilfred G. "Cy" Remillard – Lincoln

Wilfred G. "Cy" Remillard, 79, of Lincoln passed away at home on June 17, 2017. He was the husband of Doris I. (Laliberte) Remillard and they had been married for the past 55 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Karen D. Allen, and his son, Marc J. Remillard, and four beloved grandchildren, Samantha and Bennett Allen and Rebecca and Caley Remillard; two sisters, Flora (William) Kuczer and Therese Dixon; one brother, Henry Remillard.

Wilfred served in the United States Air Force and was later employed as a meat-cutter for Almacs for 43 years, then Shaw's for seven years.

Cy was in the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 2932 in Florida, and a 3rd Degree in the Knights of Columbus Council 4005 in Lincoln, R.I. He was also a member of the Manville Sportsmens Rod and Gun Club.

A celebration of his life will be held Friday, June 23, 2017, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Visitation will be held one hour prior, at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at Swan Point Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilfred's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
