Gerald N. St. Germain – North Smithfield

Gerald N. St. Germain, 75, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully July 31, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of Barbara (Clark) St. Germain for 55 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Adelard and Doris (Godon) St. Germain.

He worked as a pressman for the Providence Journal Company and Quebecor Printing for 35+ years before retiring. Gerry was a huge fan of fresh water fishing and camping with his family in Jackman, Maine, especially with his son, Dale, and grandson, Kyle. He and his granddaughter, Kayla, loved to joke with one another and she would always make him his favorite chocolate chip cookies. He also enjoyed playing cribbage with his brother, Del.

Besides his wife, Barbara, Gerald is survived by their son, Dale St. Germain of Douglas, Mass., and daughters Darlene Reilly and husband, Bill, of Ashburn, Va., and Christine Harvey and husband, Curtis, of Nashua, N.H. He is also survived by his brother, Del St. Germain, of North Fort Myers, Fla., and his two sisters, Lucille Galipeau of Cumberland, R.I. and Suzanne Danko of North Attleboro, Mass. He leaves behind six grandchildren: Kyle Morris, Kayla Ranieri, Luke St. Germain, Ryan, Nicholas and Samantha Harvey, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
