Thank you for help, Cumberland

Dear friends, family, and the Cumberland community:

Since my diagnosis of Lymphoma on Saint Patrick’s Day, I am overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness from my family, friends, and many in the community. My friends, brothers, sisters-in-law, and cousins organized a walk in my honor to help ease the financial burden of this disease. So many wonderful people showed up to support me and to see everyone that I love and many more together in one place is indescribable. I have never felt more love and appreciation for those who have taken the time to put so much effort into the fundraiser, and I will forever be grateful.

Throughout the many ups and downs that I have experienced throughout the year with this disease, I was thrilled to have been able to feel well enough to attend the walk on that Sunday. As the morning went on, I saw more and more friendly faces and supporters come and show their kindness through donations, gift baskets for the raffle, and offerings of food and water for the walkers. I can’t imagine going through this without the help of all of you and cannot thank you enough.
