Astillodore "Jerry" St. Angelo – Cranston

Astillodore "Jerry" St. Angelo, 85, of Pheasant Drive, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at home. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Pingitore) St. Angelo for 61 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Florence (Diodati) St. Angelo.

Mr. St. Angelo was a member of the Bricklayers Local #1 for more than 40 years. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during the Korean War. Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Roseann A. Libassi and her husband, Mark; Eileen F. Renaud and her husband, Ronald; Jerilynn A. Lombardi and her husband, John; and Gerald A. St. Angelo and his wife, Melissa. He was the loving grandfather of Brandon, Shana, and Glenn Libassi; Marisa Renaud, Ronald Renaud, II, Stephen and Matthew Lombardi; and Toni-Marie, Gerald, Victoria and Katerina St. Angelo. He was the loving great-grandfather of Anthony, Lucia and Christian. He was the beloved brother of John, Alfred, Michael and Anthony St. Angelo, Mary Kalapinski and the late Joseph St. Angelo.

His funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 11, at 8:15 a.m., from Woodlawn Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Sunday, 4-8.
