Thomas J. Cruise – Cumberland

Thomas J. Cruise, 58, of Cumberland, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 7.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ronald and Barbara (King) Cruise. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1977 and Northeastern University in 1982 with a degree in finance. He was a Banking Executive in Boston for 25 years, retiring in 2003. Tom was generous and loving to everyone he knew and loved spending time with his friends, many of whom he had known since early childhood.

He had spent the last 15 years with his loving and supportive partner, Debra McNally, and her daughter, Alexandria, of Cumberland. Tom is survived by his three sons Brendan, Nicholas, and Mitchell Cruise of Mansfield, Mass.; and his brothers, David and James Cruise both of Cumberland. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Barbara Gilbert.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 9 a.m., in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
