Faith A. Gaudet – Woonsocket

Faith A. Gaudet, 85, of Privilege St., Woonsocket, died Saturday, October 14, 2017, in Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Henry Gaudet of Woonsocket and widow of Charles Francis. Born in Blackstone, Mass., daughter of the late William “Gillaume” and Rosanna (Cayer) Longtin.

Faith graduated with a bachelors degree from Worcester State College in 1980. She worked as a group home director for young adults for the Gulf Coast Center in Fort Myers, Fla., prior to retiring. Faith was the author of the book: “Farnum Street - Anecdotes from the Depression.”

Besides her husband, Henry, she is survived by one son, Brian Francis, and his wife, Alycia, of Bellingham, Wash., four daughters, Faith Trudel and her husband, Richard, of Taunton, Mass.; Chuckie Peterson and her husband, John Goldwater, of Hutto, Texas; Lorijane Graham of Naples, Fla.; and Wendy Francis and her husband, Donald Ward, of West Tisbury, Mass.; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.

She was also the sister of the late William, Rita, Leo, Dotty, Rose, Mary, René, and Shirley.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at 9 a.m., from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery Blackstone, Mass., at the convenience of the family.
