Lucille M. Turgeon – Cumberland

Lucille M. Turgeon, 98, of Mendon Road, passed away on Tuesday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Aldor Turgeon.

Born in Plattsburg, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Delina (Bordeau) Malo. She had resided in Cumberland for the past 65 years previously residing in Pawtucket. Mrs. Turgeon had been very active for many years and was a charter member of St. Aidan Seniors and St. John Vianney Seniors, she was also and avid bowler up to the age of 90.

She leaves a daughter, Pauline Hogan and her husband, Dennis, of Johnston and formerly of Cumberland; two grandsons Daniel P. Hogan, Glenn M. Hogan and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Lorrie Hogan-Graveline and the sister of the late Charles Malo.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours are Saturday morning at J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
