Frank E. Wing III – Lincoln

Frank E. Wing III, 74, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 16, 2018, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, after a brave battle with Lewy Body dementia.

He was the beloved husband of Joslyn (Rheault) Wing. Born in Brighton, Mass., he was the son of the late Frank Jr. and Priscilla (Martenson) Wing. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Wing worked as an Energy Specialist for Rise Engineering for 25 years before retiring in 2008. He was an avid golfer, fly fisherman, and enjoyed vacationing with his family and friends. Frank was an active member of the Wing Family of America Inc. holding positions as Treasurer, Vice President, and most recently Property Manager for the Wing Fort House.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Elisa Vieira and her husband, Mario, of Lincoln, and Jennifer O’Neill and her husband, Raymond, of Lincoln; one sister, Marcia Wing of Sandwich, Mass; four grandchildren, Kyle and Jacob Vieira, and Eric and Jessica O’Neill and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11 a.m., in Saint Jude’s Church, Front Street, Lincoln. The burial will be private at a later date.
