Karen Sue Montmarquette – Lancaster, Pa.

Karen Sue Montmarquette, 73, died Thursday, February 1, 2018. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Elmer Edwards and Ruth Lydia (Johnson) Normandin.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution organization. Karen was an avid reader and gardener, and she cherished her time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Jeff LeBlanc of Waxhaw, N.C., Missy Bournes of Danielson, Conn., Ruth Coffey of Dayville, Conn., Scott LeBlanc of Millville, Mass., Heather Anderson of Greenville, R.I., and Thomas Carter of Oxnard, Calif.; as well as her 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her brothers, Zeke Normandin of Riverhead, N.Y., and Jon Normandin of Burlington, Vt., and her companion, Jim Johnson, of Lancaster, Pa., and his daughter, Kimberly Walls, of New Castle, Del. She is predeceased by her brother Kenneth Normandin.

Her funeral service was held Friday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m., in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Burial will be private.
