Burrillville Family Fun Fair is Saturday

BURRILLVILLE – The 27th anniversary Burrillville Family Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Stillwater Mill Center, adjacent to the Jesse Smith Library.

The Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department is working in collaboration with the Burrillville Farmers Market and Jesse Smith Library for this year’s event.

The Farmers Market will be offering its goods and hosting musical entertainment provided by After Market Parts. Children will have the opportunity to make their own plantings at the market.

The Family Fair will offer kids' games, class demonstrations, food, free giveaways, raffles and informational booths.

New this year is the addition of the Animal Affair Traveling Petting Zoo, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Marshall from "Paw Patrol" will make an appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Complimentary face painting will be available throughout the day. A pie-eating contest will be held at 11 a.m. for both kids and adults, with trophies to the winners.

Boxes of macaroni and cheese will be collected for the Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program. For every box donated you will receive a free raffle ticket. Organizers say all raffle proceeds will benefit the Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program.

The Child Identification Program, organized by the Freemasons, will take place inside the Jesse Smith Library.

The rain date is Saturday, June 23.
