SMITHFIELD – Best friends Andrea Argenti and Jessica Grissom, both of Scituate, opened their own beauty shop, Hairsay Salon, 16 Cedar Swamp Road, designed from the bottom up to be a successful business.

Passion fuels Hairsay Salon, and after only one week in the new store in April, the pair decided to expand into the suite next door to accommodate clients with the growing service menu. A women-owned venture, the two are dedicated to learning everything they can about the beauty industry and said they never tire of taking classes to bring quality services to clients.

“It’s like family in here. We’ve worked together so long, it’s really great,” Argenti said.

Services include cut, color, foil, ombre, bayalage, blowouts, perms, updos and much more. It also features a nail salon for a paraffin hand dip, manicures using gel, dip and acrylics, as well as pedicures.

Ever popular eyelash extensions and tinting is also available, as well as brow, lip and face waxing treatments.

The cosmetologists at Hairsay are close-knit, with a family atmosphere that they say proves that the best career is one that you enjoy.

Hairsay Salon is open Tuesday-Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, or call to make an appointment at 401-349-0024.
