Alexandre E. Goulet – Bellingham, Mass.

Alexandre E. Goulet, 97, of Bellingham, Mass., passed away on June 28, at home surrounded by his family and loving spouse of 72 years, Anna (Cardin) Goulet.

Alex spent most his life in Bellingham. Alex was born in Woonsocket on April 3, 1921. He is survived by his son Edgar Goulet, of Charlestown R.I.; son Alexander Goulet and his spouse, Dottie, of Woonsocket R.I.; daughter Vivianne Baillargeon and her spouse, Marc, of North Smithfield R.I.; son Andre Goulet of Sun City Florida; Daughter Louise Gately and spouse, William, of Burrillville R.I.; and his sister, Jeanette Ledoux, of Woonsocket, R.I. Mr. Goulet had 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Goulet was a drafting teacher at Woonsocket High School from 1969-1985, also teaching adult education for 17 yrs. Mr. Goulet honorably served his country as a member of the Signal Army Air Corp During WWII. He served as president of the Co C 596th Signal Air Battalion Veterans Association. Mr. Goulet was an avid writer and has published several novels. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Yankee Trailers Hiking club. He served as an usher for Assumption Church for over 40 years. He also volunteered his time to meals on wheels. Alex had an amazing journey and a great sense of humor. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 9, at 11 a.m. at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 259 West Wrentham Road, Cumberland, R.I.
